Being reflective as an early childhood teacher often means reflecting on our interactions with children, parents, team, management, and our teaching practice and strategies. Well-being encompasses caring for children, parents, the team, and management. While we often go home too exhausted for ourselves, our time, and our family.
Where is YOU in all of this?
Do you remember who you are under the tiredness and exhaustion?
My bones know these stories so well. I have had to remember and relearn ME - the one not so tired, triggered, and reactive.
I truly walk the talk both as a wounded teacher and working with wounded teachers and in toxic environments.
I help educators distinguish between inherited patterns, past-created fears, and limiting beliefs through deep self-inquiry and energetic awareness.
This is something we owe ourselves, our families, the children and families we work for, and our team and management.
I know how brutal those moments can be when we realise what is carried deep in our bones and our wounds. I have truly been there.
My reason for setting up this page is to create a community of educators who truly want to shine in showing up, know and be comfortable with all the parts of themselves.
As educators, we know the ripple effect of what we bring - both good and bad - into the teaching environment.
So lets make it the best shiny, bright, and positive experience for ourselves and others ... be ready to let your badass shine!
